Group Yoga

While I am currently taking a hiatus from teaching group yoga (except the monthly FREE class) for January through July of 2023, 12 weekly group yoga classes will start August 1st (5 on Zoom, 7 in person).

I aim to make all of my classes accessible to most bodies. The poses I choose to teach do not require extreme flexibility or strength, but will likely build strength and flexibility with ongoing practice. Remember that even if the specific offered time for a Zoom class doesn’t work for your schedule, if you register and pay for the class, you will have access to the replay for 7 days! 

Monday/Friday 12-12:30 PM Breathwork (Zoom) – 30 mins $8/class – Starts Aug 4th

  • This class can be done in your “office clothes” if you are at work. We start with gentle movements for the head, neck, shoulders, and spine, and then practice energizing breathing practices that will energize you for your day.

Monday 4:30-5:30 PM Mindful Hatha (In Person) – 60 mins $16/class – Starts Aug 7th

  • Join us for an energizing practice! We will practice a variety of yoga postures from reclined, to seated, to standing, as well as energizing and soothing breathing practices. Class concludes with a brief meditation and final rest: savasana.

Monday 6-7 PM Myofascial Yin (In Person) – 60 mins $16/class – Starts Aug 7th

  • Imagine a yoga class that also feels like a massage… I recently did a training with Jill Miller to learn self-myofascial release using therapy balls. This class will combine using therapy balls to massage certain areas of the body with the long, slow holds in yin yoga postures. Join us! Class is limited to 6 people, and therapy balls will be provided for use in class.

Tuesdays 9-10 AM Gentle/Beginners (In Person) – 60 mins $16/class – Starts Aug 1st

  • If you are new to yoga, or if you simply prefer the sweeter and softer side of yoga, this may be the class for you! We practice poses that encourage an easeful quality of being in your body, deep breathing to release held stress, and deep rest.

Tuesday/Thursday 12-12:45 PM Mindful Hatha (Zoom) – 45 mins $12/class – Starts Aug 1st

  • Join us for an energizing mid-day break! We will move through gentle range-of-motion movements, some standing postures, practice energizing breathing practices, and conclude with a few minutes of meditation.

Thursdays 9-10 AM Mellow Yin (In Person) – 60 mins $16/class – Starts Aug 3rd

  • Yin yoga is a mellow practice inviting you to notice the subtle sensations we only notice when we melt into the support of the floor and props. Yin yoga postures are held for generally 3-5 minutes to allow for a slow opening and unfolding of tension.

Fridays 4:30-5:30 PM Yin-Nidra (In Person) – 60 mins $16/class – Starts Aug 4th

  • Join us for a 40-minute mellow yin practice followed by a 20-minute deep relaxation yoga nidra meditation!

Fridays 6-7 PM Candlelight Hatha (In Person) – 60 mins $16/class – Starts Aug 4th

  • Join me in person on Friday evenings by (LED) candlelight for a slow but super-relaxing hatha yoga practice! Class is limited to 6 people.

Saturday 9-10 AM Mindful Hatha (Zoom) – 60 mins $16/class – Starts Aug 5th

  • Join us for an awakening start to your weekend! We will practice a variety of yoga postures from reclined, to seated, to standing, as well as energizing and soothing breathing practices. Class concludes with a brief meditation and final rest: savasana.

Saturday 10:30-11:30 AM Gentle/Beginners (In Person) – 60 mins $16/class – Starts Aug 5th

All classes require registration at least one hour before each class.

Zoom class recordings are available to paid participants for 7 days following each class, so register even if you can’t attend live if you want to receive a copy of the recording.

One class rates are $8 for 30 min, $12 for 45 min, and $16 for 60 min.
